dude I would love to design your own personal website…I could import this blog into your own domain, so you could make it like runningmuslimah.com

plus, I need personal websites for my portfolio.

Hey running muslimah, I’m a also running muslimah. Ramadan Mubarak! Speaking of Ramadan, what’s your strategy for running during this month. I tried running while fasting, limiting myself to just one mile, but it’s pretty exhausting, especially with the surplus heat and humidity we have here in Lahore, Pakistan. I can’t go running after Iftar because it’s pretty dark outside and I don’t feel very safe. I guess owning a treadmill would have helped?,

I’m so sorry Marria, I didn’t mean to ignore you for so long!

Wow, running WHILE fasting, especially in humidity, that’s pretty intense!

My strategy got shot down this Ramadan, so I’m hoping to get started running again after Ramadan. I just started university this semester a few days after Ramadan began, and on top of that my family and I moved into a new place.

As far as running during Ramadan, I know at least at my school, the fitness center is open from 6 AM – 12 AM on weekdays, so if I really wanted to I could work out at school after maghrib. I’ve just been running around (the non-fun kind) like a chicken without a head trying to get acclimated to classes and getting adjusted to the new house. I feel terrible mentally and physically because I haven’t been getting my usual workout. The campus is huge, so that helps, I’m walking miles everyday.

A treadmill would definitely help, I know a lot of people who workout on the treadmill while watching TV and I saw on the news the latest trend is working on the laptop (with a table top to put on the treadmill) and walking at the same time on the treadmill!

Here’s hoping your workout routine is going better than mine right now!
